What's Included?

We’ll look at the science behind happiness, and understand why happiness is a practice that has to be adopted into your lifestyle, and why it is not selfish to pursue happiness. During this session we’ll cover:

• The Happiness Boosting Factors – how the little changes make a huge difference in your life
• The power of gratitude – how the simple tool of appreciating what we have can completely transforms your attitude
• Making connections with strangers: The importance of connecting with strangers and how to do it without feeling awkward

 

There’s no magic pill that can improve your life. You have to create healthy habits in order to achieve your happiness goals. During this session, we’ll learn how to:

• Introduce more movement into your daily routine, on top of your regular exercise practice
• Establish new, healthier habits that will set the foundation for greater happiness

Sleep plays a much larger role in your happiness than you might realize. We’ll dive into the science behind sleep and how it can impact how you feel and what you do.
We’ll take a closer look at a toxic culture of bragging about lack of sleep and our screen addiction. In this session, we’ll explore:

• The human tendency to value entertainment over feeling well rested

• How to kill phone addiction and establish clear phone rules before bedtime?

• Does all social media steal our happiness?

 

One of the most underrated happiness tools today is also something that you can do for free: embracing mindfulness. Learning how to be more present in the moment will lead to greater happiness. During this session we’ll learn:

• How to become more mindful in our daily life
• Meditation myths that are holding you back from trying it
• Brain-enhancing super wisdom that can change your life

 

How much of what you do is because you want to do it, as opposed to feeling obligated to do it or doing it by default? When you are clear on your priorities and your boundaries, you can start designing your life purposefully. In this session we’ll discuss:

• Which relationships you cherish most and how to prioritize them in your life

• Being thoughtful about what you love to do and figuring out how to make time for it

• How to design a blueprint for what your ideal week looks like

• How to become more connected and more thoughtful with others

• What are the most common regrets people have and how to avoid them

 

Self-love and self-compassion is something we all need more of! Learning how to talk about ourselves differently and improve the thoughts we have about ourselves plays an important part in our overall happiness. In this session, we’ll:

• Introduce exercises that will help you feel better about yourself
• Discover your love language, in order to improve your relationship with yourself and your loved ones
• Learn why small and random acts of kindness are happiness bombs and how to use them frequently

 

Start the journey of finding clarity around your true purpose in life. Knowing a reason that keeps you getting up out of bed every morning will greatly enhance your satisfaction and fulfillment. During this session we will:

• Discover and find out how to use your 5 signature strengths

• Learn why we should aim to achieve the state of flow

• Explore the differences between a job, a career, and a calling

 

Finding the best happiness outcome is different for everyone, but the most important factor is realizing which small changes will have the biggest and most positive impact on your well being. In our final session, we will explore a variety of topics, including:

• The famous questions: Does money buy happiness? And if so, how to use it to truly improve your life v. clutter it with more stuff.

• If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be and how can you make it happen?

• Rank all your happiness boosting factors from the most to least important. Be clear what to focus on moving forward.

Who is leading the Happiness Workshop?

I am Agata Kay, a certified life coach driven by a passion for the science of happiness.

With my gentle guidance you will easily make small yet impactful changes that result in a noticeable increase in your own happiness.

My own journey towards happiness began when I found myself with a great husband, two beautiful children and a job I (mostly) enjoyed, yet I was still sensing a lingering emptiness in my life.

Though not unhappy, I definitely yearned for more. It was then that I discovered the science of happiness and wholeheartedly embraced all its teachings. I implemented these principles into my own life and experienced a profound transformation in my own attitude.

This powerful shift inspired me to share my knowledge and help as many people as possible to experience the same level of happiness. After 17 years in commercial construction management, I transitioned into becoming a “happiness project manager” (I know it’s a silly title, but it makes me smile) for those seeking a joyous boost in their lives.

In addition to my coaching work, I also lead several local social groups. I firmly believe that the power of social connection is one of the most underestimated yet essential factors of a truly happy life. I consider connecting people my life’s most important mission, hence the workshop I offer is not a “do it yourself” online course but rather a small group mastermind were we create a supportive community so we can thrive TOGETHER.
